CHARACTER NAME: Devon Rex
CHARACTER AGE: Appears 17-18 but is existentially much older.
CHARACTER CANON: Original.
CANON POINT: Going to the manor post-mission to rest.
ABILITIES:extreme healing factor: heals back to the way his body existed at his contract point with Raíz, meaning teeth/eyes will regrow rapidly, but he'll never get his tonsils back because they'd been removed previously. This can be hampered by his body being unable to heal (say if obstructed / impaled) but he usually picks himself right on up fairly quick. Sleeps a ton to recuperate after healing larger wounds. congenital analgesia: Devon doesn't feel pain, only pressure/other sensation and this is used to his benefit 99% of the time. That last 1% sucks when he doesn't realize he's about to pass out.

Devon's parents died in a car crash when he was very young, one that he himself survived. After that he was bounced around with relatives until he landed with a fairly affluent older aunt who raised him for a few years before sending him to boarding school abroad. He didn't want for much if anything growing up, but finds more interest in bartering over money - viewing the worth of people and their bodies/autonomy more valuable than paper ever could be.
WHAT WOULD/DID YOUR CHARACTER MAJOR IN?:
He would've studied veterinary medicine / anatomy!
WHAT IS THE MOST INTERESTING THING THAT HAS HAPPENED TO YOUR CHARACTER?:
He made a deal with Raíz to volunteer a hefty amount of years of servitude in exchange for a wish. In exchange for that agreeance, he was granted his healing factor & has been exploring the limits of it ever since. Raíz is one of very few "authority" figures he genuinely respects because of this, too.
