Yeah, yeah. He's part of my - well, a few months ago we were brothers 'cause of this place. But we are from the same place. Raíz's family.

You were brothers? Like adopted or something?

We thought that - few months ago, when we all hallucinated? I thought Cellar was my sister, too.

But we kind of are adopted in that we agreed to work for Raíz. She gave me my healing in exchange for working for her. Everyone in the family made a deal like that. We get a wish granted when it's all done with.

[ He crosses his arms, thinking. ]

Are we just gonna fuck if we go back to my room?

[He shrugs, though.]

Yeah? Y'wanna do something else?

[ And he shrugs back, because he doesn't really know. Then, ]

Well, yeah. It's why I asked you out. So we could do other stuff, and, I don't know. Get to know each other or whatever.

[Devon takes Dom's hand. Handholding occurs. He turns and pulls Dom off toward the movie room. Shut up, baka, it's not like I like you or anythi-]

[ And so the date officially begins—? Off to watch an old (even for Dom) horror movie with a pretty cool monster in it. He'll take Devon's hand and hold him firmly, seeing the other boy differently - or maybe it's just the angle. Maybe it's the fact that they're not rushing off to the nearest bed for another marathon. ]

So you're into horror movies? Like, all of them?

Mm, yeah? I guess. Most of them.

[Devon is slouching down in the shared cushioned seat, no divider between the halves so he can more or less invade Dom's space. He has a packet of popcorn, too, which paired with the TV keeps him from being horny on main for - at least a little while. But it means his demeanor shifts, so the way he leans on Dom side to side is... lazy, effortless.]

I like all kinds of movies. This one just has an epic monster in it an' they like made so many sequels.

[ Dom sits a little awkwardly, but that's just his usual posture, never fully relaxed, always worried about something, even if the thought hasn't fully formed yet. A stiff muscle here or there, trying to find a comfortable position that doesn't invade Devon's space too much. At least - not until he wants Dom to? He probably already wants Dom to. ]

Yeah. There's a sequel that came out like a year before I got here. They must have it, right?

[ He hasn't seen Alien: Resurrection yet. He probably should keep it that way. ]

Probably. Wanna watch it next?

[He eats popcorn, transitioning from by kernel to by handful like a majestic wild horse.]

They made a ton more after the nineties too. Or it feels like a ton? You ever watch Scream? They're still making those, too.
