Some of the portraits were also of people in the book, according to Cassian. This included Silco, Buffy, Dean and Wanda's portraits.

Others in the portraits were identified as people who had died, such as Jackie.

Michael Burnham explained that a group had attempted to test the barrier keeping the estates boundaries by attempting to exit alongside the camera crew. The engine died however upon attempting to cross the barrier and locked them inside for 3 days.

Michael took readings (as a trained scientist,) at the barriers and these readings indicated a massive external force putting pressure on the barrier. Initial reasoning hte barrier was keeping visitors in was now shown to possibly instead be keeping something else out. It was at this moment that she then received data in which some seemed to come from the house, and the rest seemed otherwise corrupted by an external entity.

She states that the entity is trying to get inside and may make use of the guests as hosts. "It selected it's host candidate on October 25th of last year". It has revealed a list of back up candidates as well.

Michael states the barrier remains unchanged but that the house is more tired now after this incident. "The entity has stated that 'every betrayal makes it tired.'"

Burnham also explains that the entity used a greek word ψυχή three times in its message. This word translates to "soul". In this network post Burnham reveals that is not all the data, as it specifies certain guests and in the interest of maintaining their privacy, she will share that information with them first and have them share what they wish to.

She also did not share the direct message, and has made mention that others may come see it on her device if they so wish.

On this network post, Gabriel Lorca also identifies himself as part of the escape plot. Other parties include Ava Star, Cassian Andor and Wanda Maximoff.
